What a great concert Thursday night. It was the highlight of my summer. The band rocked out doing 20-30 minutes of nothing but singing the hits and the new stuff.
Their new lead singer sounds just like Steve Perry but those bugged out eyes all night kind of got to me (didn't know if he was drunk or high) and he is a little Mexican jumping bean. Could not stand in the same place for more than a minute but that is one thing that kept the crowd enthused.
I actually bought their new CD on the way out after what I heard because it was awesome.
I have declared myself a true Journey fan because I also went in for the $40 t-shirt (which was well worth it).
Thanks to 105.9 for all you did in getting Journey to Nashville and keep Nashville rocking.
