Akron Police mix it up with Grace Slick and Paul Kantner at a concert at the Akron Rubber Bowl. Slick gets maced and Kantner is slammed to the floor when the two went to check on Jack Cassidy. Cassidy had been hauled off stage for protesting police firing tear gas into the crowd. |

The Rolling Stones top the bill over Todd Rundgren, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 10cc and others at England's annual Knebworth Festival. The concert is held in front of 200,000 fans and is played up as the last Stones show ever to be held in Britain. |
